Introduction

The parking lot at 1080 Boylston Street allows for the opportunity to control the different environments that surround the site. The goal was to design a Research Center that links back to Wentworth as well as dealing with the conditions of Boston with respect to Boylston Street and the Mass Pike.

The Research Center would serve as a different environment for Wentworth students to explore and research to strengthen their knowledge of the city. To achieve this goal, strategic placement of the program was developed in order to provide the different experiences between the campus and business atmosphere. To further emphasize the different experiences, the program pushes and pulls based off the generated view from different building heights.
